The Internstional Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS) held its program committee meeting during September 10 and 11 at RMIT in Melbourne. Nearly 60 experts of all aeronautical displines gathered there to review paper abstract, build up sessions and select general lectures for ICAS2020. It is held in conjunction with the workshop on digital transformation in aeronsutics. Dr. Zhang Xinguo, VP of CSAA and professor of Tsinghua University made a lecture together with 20 some other speakers.
The ICAS 2020 has seen 958 submissions from over 40 countries. The acceptance results will be released by the end of this year.
The ICAS 2020 will be held in Shanghai during September 14-18 next year. There will be over ten world-class general lectures and 13 tracks for over 500 oral presentations on technical accepted papers. Student activities like speed mentoring, future technology panel, best paper award and student party will be incorporated.
